WORK WITH ME: Hi, my name is Dr Felicity (Flis) Lawrence and I'm an organisational social psychology expert with 25 years+ in the private sector as a consultant, Commonwealth / ACT public services, and armed forces.
INTENTIONALLY CO-DESIGNING & ACTIVATING CIVIL, PSYCHOLOGICALLY SAFER WORKPLACES: My bespoke Creative, Healthy and Engaged Workplaces Initiative (CHEWI) program equips everyone in the workplace, school or university with an adaptable roadmap, framework & methodology to intentionally co-design, operationalise and measure your customised culture, and to also diagnose & safely interrupt incivility or disrespect with tools grounded in hard science and self-leadership strategies, and formed through your unique purpose and work values.
BENEFITS: Leaders, staff and HR report a greater sense of mutual respect both within, and across, teams. Developing ‘individual-level’ and ‘group-level’ awareness & expertise in diagnosing & safely interrupting incivility and other disruptive behaviours leads to reduced unexplained absenteeism and bullying claims, improves well-being and self-confidence in respectfully protecting personal & professional boundaries.
HOW CHEWI WORKS: The program is fully adaptable, will discrete elements offered as short half- or full-day courses. Overall, CHEWI equips everyone in your workplace with the same tools, expertise & confidence to 1. co-design and bring to life a psychologically safer, customised work culture that you/your people want to witness, experience and model, 2. civility enrichment strategies to accurately diagnose, reframe and safely interrupt incivility, disrespect & other unhealthy behaviours like bullying without escalation or harm, and 3. enhance individual well-being and engagement through my intentional self-leadership framework, mindfulness tools & personal power model.
