Are You A Slave To Your Internal Self-Critical voice?
DID YOU KNOW? Bullies are clever at tapping into, and manipulating, your internal self-critical beliefs, and using these against you.
Self-criticism is generally developed when we're very young and in our teenage years, when we experience criticism or disapproval from a key or important family member (mother, father, sibling) that leads us to develop the belief that we are inadequate, stupid, incompetent, or even friendless.
In adulthood, if we remain unaware of these critical 'stories', then we are more likely to interpret our life, our relationships - our reality - as evidence of our incompetence, inadequacy, or stupidity.
